5 out of 5 stars Fantastic bag and purpose   July 26, 2007

The bag is great, the charity great. But beyond all that. I don't feel awkward anymore with my purchased bags that say Trader Joe's when I go to Ralph's or Target. This bag is not associated with a store so you won't have to have that uncomfortable stare while you are trying to do good!!

5 out of 5 stars A Great Way to Give and Get in Return!   August 4, 2007

We purchased two of the World Food Programme Feed Bags in an effort to cut down the use of non-biodegradable plastic bags or use of trees for paper bags in the grocery store. The Feed Bag is sturdy, very high quality and can take a very large load with no complaints. It also washes up very nicely and stays clean for carrying foodstuffs. Part of the purchase price also goes to a good cause: The World Food Programme. How can we miss!

5 out of 5 stars An amazing bag that leaves little burlap particles.   February 14, 2008

I was excited about this bag from the minute I saw it. I must admit I was a little thrown over the cost, and it took me a long time before actually taking the step to purchase it. It wasn't until one day that I was about to purchase a Marc Jacobs purse when I thought, why am I about to spend $300 on a bag that I won't love forever, and don't even feel good about buying? That's what I love about the Feed bag. Even if only a fraction of the cost went to support children in need, I would buy it again 100 times over. It makes me feel good knowing that something I bought went to make a difference, and that every compliment I get (trust me, it's a lot) gives me a chance to tell someone new about this great charitable opportunity. I wear it with the white side out, and it's super freaking adorable. It goes with everything I wear, and the size holds absolutely everything. It's STURDY, VERY well crafted, and you can tell a lot of thought was put into this bag.

My only complaint-- I have to wear a black uniform for my job (a cosmetologist) and the burlap will leave little flakes almost like I stood against a tree--this is why I recommend wearing it white side out.

Other than that, this bag is definitely worth it!

I love this bag. It's large but not awkward. I feel good about the cause and being able to use it for grocceries (and not be embarrased by it) It is perfect and its two bags in one!
