They just go to make more plastic bags which others will throw in the trash, along the highways, and worst of all in the ocean. Birds and fish think plastic is food. I'm a fisherman and saw a very large fish devour a plastic shopping bag floating on the surface 25 miles offshore.
I'm a male who doesn't like to draw attention. I was worried that these bags would. I haven't received a single comment from a cashier or anyone else. If you want attention get a leather shopping bag or one with macrame.
The Planet Bag is well-constructed. The straps are long enough to allow you to shoulder carry. One negative is that the fabric is loaded with starch. After one recommended cold wash, they came out wrinkled and still somewhat stiff. I wish the vendor had spent a few cents more to have the fabric properly finished at the mill instead of using loom-state goods.

These bags are wonderful! Exactly as described, large, lightweight, durable and easy to carry. Wash up great and don't slide around in the car after you load them in! Great value for price too.

i use these bags everyday. they are of superb quality and hold lots of products. i especially love the long handle.

These are great, sturdy bags. I feel good when I use them and do my part to reduce the usage of millions of little plastic bags.

Three bags for the money is good. As I have said , they are somewhat flimsy, but great to use with more stable purchases such as boxes of cereal, crackers, etc.
