I love these bags May 15, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Look, I know they're not cheap. You can buy reusable bags for a lot less money. That said, these carry a lot more stuff than supermarket bags, they have gusseted bottoms so they can sit flat when you load them up. They're super light weight, they fold up small enough that you can stick them in your back pocket and they look really, really good. They also clean easily and due to the wide straps, are really comfortable to carry, even when full and heavy.
For me, the problem with a lot of the reusable bags out there is that (a) the material is often horrible, (b) they are too big when folded, (c) they're really, really ugly. Stupid patterns and slogans proclaiming what an awesome person you are for trying to be a little more earth-friendly. It's ridiculous.
I often give these as gifts to friends and they love them.
Not expensive for its quality August 2, 2008 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
To those who complain about the cost of these bags, they should take note that the material used for these bags is RIPSTOP nylon, the same material used in parachutes and hot air balloons. The fabric is reinforced with crossthreads,so it is very strong and durable. Chicobags, e.g., use ordinary nylon, and there were complaints that some of these bags tore after a couple of months use. Ripstop nylon won't tear easily and, unlike ordinary nylon, any tears that might occur won't spread (hence the name), but the fabric is more expensive. Cotton is sturdy and a lot cheaper than ripstop nylon, but most grocery totes made of cotton are heavier, bulkier, and do not fold compactly, and so are less likely to be carried with one routinely. If you want lightweight, durable, and portable, ripstop nylon is the way to go, but you will have to pay more for it.
Great bags! January 25, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These bags are great. I carry one in my purse folded in its little pouch, and it has come in handy in several situations. I anticipate using them a lot when the grocery stores start charging for their plastic grocery bags. Good for me and good for the environment. Make Al Gore proud and buy this product. I bought them in red in the six-pack, and they're cute, fun, and make a great gift.

I love these bags! They were inexpensive, yet are very durable. I get compliments on them wherever I go. The best part is, I don't have to deal with any of those annoying plastic bags anymore. The 6 bags easily hold a week's worth of groceries for my family of 4.
Baggu Resuable Totes February 14, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I received the Baggu 6 pack in Colbalt blue (loved the color) as a gift. They are really nice. I put 2 in my purse, 3 in my vehicle, and I'm keeping one in the house (they fit right in my pocket for when I go walking). It really came in handy when I was visiting with a friend and she had stuff for me to take. I pulled out my baggu and everything fit it nicely. She was impressed. Easy to carry and the baggu fit right back into the pouch with ease. I will be buying these for gifts. They are wonderful.
